PROCESS

1 | CONSULT

The initial consultation is a time to get to know each other and begin the creative-to-client relationship. Together, we will define what  projects the client needs. We will discuss your goals and target audience, budgets, deadlines, deliverables and final outputs. In addition, we will discuss who will be a part of the collaborative process. Post consult, I will begin creating a design quotation and vendor quotes as needed, to realize the project whether that be web hosting, commercial printing quotes, etc.

2 | RESEARCH + STRATEGIZE

This phase is a review of  the client’s existing brand and history. In determining  what has and hasn’t worked,  we can make a more informed decision as to whether the creative work entails developing the brand further or to consider redesign. If this is a completely new venture, we will begin with a blank canvas. In this stage, I will also review competitors and comparable brands. The research and development of a strategy in how to move forward will help make clear the client’s vision and how the design will lend distinction to your brand in the markets where you operate. Too, we will consider where this work will live, how it will function and what that means for how the design will evolve in terms of future growth. This is important to understand how we can build flexibility into the design so that it translates well across a variety of different media applications. 

3 | DESIGN. PROOF. EDIT. APPROVE.

Having acquired the appropriate content and creating an outline for the projects, planning and generating the design digitally is the next step. The designs are created via the Adobe Creative Suite. Following a mutually agreed upon schedule, the projects will be proofed out and presented to the client via PDF proofs. Feedback and edits from the client will be implemented as we proof through stages from the initial concepts and layouts to the final approval of project designs.

4 | FINAL PRODUCTION

Approved art files will be delivered to the necessary vendors for final production or released on the appropriate media channels. Printed materials associated with the projects will be monitored throughout the process. Live accounts maybe continually managed or on a set schedule.
